Chemung County residents attended a legislation meeting on 9/8/25 looking for answers to the question if accepting funds from the COP Federal grant would allow ICE to operate within the county. Sheriff Bill Schrom and Legislator Bill McCarthy (D) discuss the grant in detail to answer residents questions.
